Robinson Pharma Inc., (RPI) Santa Ana, CA, successfully underwent a surveillance audit for GMP compliant manufacture of dietary supplements. Specialized Technology Resources (STR) performed the quality systems audit, which assesses the ability of a company’s manufacturing process to effectively and consistently produce correctly labeled, pure and safe products. STR analyzed the RPI standard operating procedures, staff qualifications, staff-training program and facility adequacy and cleanliness. All aspects of the manufacturing process were reviewed, including receipt and authentication of ingredients, the production process, post-production product analysis, product handling, packaging, storage and record keeping.
